Terms
The plain terms for using this site and taking part at Sajim Traders. They sit alongside the written agreement you sign before you earn an account. If the two differ, the signed agreement wins.
Who we are
- Sajim Traders is a staff-run trading team in Nairobi, Kenya, part of Sajim Holdings.
- Using this site and the web platform means you accept these terms. If you do not, please do not apply.
Applying
- Applying is free. We never ask for a fee or a deposit to apply.
- No ID is needed to apply. Instead, every applicant takes the knowledge test.
- Please give true answers. A person on the team reads every application and may decline it.
The market test and the tryout
- The market test is three calls on charts the desk chooses. Each call has a direction, the price that proves you wrong, a target and your reasons in your own words.
- To pass: two of three directions right and an average reasoning mark of 6 or more.
- Do not copy a call, use another person’s work or share the chart.
- In the tryout you send 10 setups. Each is at least 1:4 reward to risk. A setup is locked once sent, and the Risk Desk records the result from where price went. A recorded result is final.
- Passing a stage does not create a right to the next one.
How trading works
- Traders send setups. The firm decides what to do with them.
- Trusted staff, chosen by the CEO, place trades on the firm’s own accounts. Traders do not trade these accounts for now.
- You are not trading your own money, and we do not hold your money.
Profit share
- Pay comes only from realised trading profit on the firm’s accounts, never from fees.
- A profit share is not guaranteed. If the accounts make no profit, there is nothing to share.
- Pay unlocks after 3 winning setups. Your share of the profit is a percentage that starts at 25% and grows with the number of results you have recorded, to a peak of 35%. After that it comes down step by step as volume grows. It is never above 40% or below 20%.
- To move up a step, your win rate must be above 30%, your average reward to risk must be above 1:4, and you must send your Friday report that week. If you miss one, you stay where you are.
- The terms of any share are set in the written agreement you sign before you earn an account. They are not set by this page.
Payouts
- A payout is paid by M-Pesa, and the M-Pesa reference is recorded.
- Finance creates a payout and a different person approves it. Nobody approves their own payout.
- At your first payout we confirm who you are, once, by the name on your M-Pesa line.
- A ledger entry over KES 20,000 needs a second person before it counts.
Risk and advice
- Trading carries a risk of loss, and most people who trade lose money.
- Nothing on this site or in the platform is financial or investment advice, a signal service or a forecast.
- Our limits, such as 1% risk per trade on prop accounts and a 2% daily stop, reduce risk. They do not remove it.
Suspension and ending
- We may suspend or close an account, or end your part in the programme, if you break these terms or the rules, give false information, or put the firm or its accounts at risk.
- You can stop at any time by writing to us.
- What happens to money already earned is set in your written agreement.
Changes
- We may change these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page.
- Questions about these terms go to the email address below.
