How we protect capital
Good intentions fail on bad days, so the limits are built into the platform and are the same for everyone.
The safeguards
1%
Risk per trade
On prop accounts no single trade may risk more than 1% of the account.
2%
A daily stop
When a prop account is down 2% on the day, trading on it stops until the next day.
1:4
At least three to one
The target must be at least four times as far from the entry as the stop. A setup below that is not accepted.
2 sessions
Set trading hours
We trade 09:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, Nairobi time. Outside those hours, we do not enter.
Reviewed
Every setup is checked first
The Risk Desk reviews and publishes each setup before any account holder can enter it. A rejection always comes with a reason.
Posted
The balance is posted after every close
The account holder posts the MT5 balance after each close. The next entry on that account stays locked until they do.
Learning path
What you learn
Quality over quantity is a habit. The path is built to teach it, one lesson and one setup at a time.
Lessons assigned to you
You open Learn and watch the lessons the team has set for you. A lesson can pause sending until you have watched it.
Writing your reasoning
Every call and every setup comes with your why: structure, where you are wrong, how you manage risk, and honesty about doubt.
Reading the answer
When the Risk Desk rejects a setup, you get the reason and can reply in the thread. Your scorecard grows one recorded result at a time.
Staff-run, in Nairobi
Who runs it
Sajim Traders is a small team under Sajim Holdings. People, not scripts, read your application and review your work. Results are reported to the firm’s investor every week.
Risk Desk
Reviews every setup, publishes or rejects it with a reason, records results and reads your test result.
Operations
Keeps the day running, welcomes people and watches the accounts and applications.
People
Decides who joins, keeps the team working and answers your questions.
Finance
Keeps the money records true. Nobody approves their own payment: a second person always does.
Questions, answered plainly
Questions
Do I need an ID to apply?
No. There is no ID upload. Instead of an ID check you take a short knowledge test, so we can see how you think about risk. If you later earn a payment, we confirm who you are once, by the name on your M-Pesa line.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Applying, the knowledge test and the tryout are free, and we never ask for a fee or a deposit to apply.
How long does it take?
It depends on you and on the desk, so we do not promise a date. You see your knowledge test result straight away, and a person replies to you by email after each stage. The funded account is the last step and not everyone reaches it.
What happens in the knowledge test?
Twelve multiple-choice questions on risk, stops, reward-to-risk and discipline. Nine right passes. You see your score straight away, and if you pass our team contacts you to book a call.
Ready to show us how you read a market?
Applying is free and needs no ID. A person on the team reads every application and replies by email.
Trading involves risk of loss, and nothing here is a promise of profit or income. Read the risk disclosure.
